What Is FlorrMobNotify?

FlorrMobNotify is a browser-based notification tool designed specifically for florr.io, a browser-based multiplayer survival game. The tool connects to a dedicated WebSocket server that monitors live game events and instantly delivers alerts to your browser the moment something happens — a rare mob spawns, a rift opens, or the shop updates.

Unlike approaches that require periodic page refreshes, FlorrMobNotify uses a persistent WebSocket connection to receive events in real time. Notification latency is measured in milliseconds, not seconds. When a mob spawns on your server, you find out before most other players have even looked at their screen.

Why It Was Built

Florr.io is a fast-paced game. Rare mobs — the enemies that drop valuable petals — appear unpredictably and disappear quickly. Players who wanted to catch them had two options: keep their eyes glued to the game at all times, or miss out.

FlorrMobNotify was built to solve that problem. The goal was simple: a tool that watches the game for you and taps you on the shoulder the moment something worth your attention happens. No manual checking, no constant vigilance. Just instant, reliable alerts.

Over time, the tool grew well beyond its original scope. Today it covers mob spawn and defeat tracking, rift events, shop inventory changes, unique forge locations, live mapcodes, and a real-time community chat — all delivered through the same WebSocket pipeline.

How It Works at a Glance

When you open FlorrMobNotify, your browser establishes a WebSocket connection to the notification server. The server continuously receives game event data and pushes updates to every connected client as events happen. Your browser then fires a native browser notification (with optional sound) and logs the event in the on-screen feed.

Everything runs in your browser. No app download, no plugins, no browser extensions required. Open the page, connect as a guest or with Discord, and start receiving alerts within seconds.

Who Built It

FlorrMobNotify is built and maintained by VortexPrime, an independent developer and florr.io player. The project started as a personal utility and evolved into a community tool used by a growing number of active players across all server regions.

Free to Use

FlorrMobNotify is entirely free for all players. Connect as a guest with no account required and get full access to mob notifications, the event feed, rifts, shop data, and more. Guest sessions are temporary and expire after a set window.

Logging in with Discord gives you a persistent session, your Discord username displayed in the online community panel, and earlier mob deletion access based on your server role. Discord login is optional — the core notification features are available to everyone.

If you find the tool useful and want to support ongoing development, there is an optional Buy Me a Coffee link in the app header. It is entirely voluntary and has no effect on feature access.

Community

A Discord server accompanies FlorrMobNotify where players receive the same mob and rift alerts through the Discord bot, discuss game strategy, request features, and get support. The bot uses the same data source as the website, so Discord alerts and browser alerts arrive at the same time.
