FlorrMobNotify is only useful if the signal-to-noise ratio matches your goals. A few settings choices make the difference between helpful alerts and constant distraction.
Filter aggressively
Start by enabling only Super, Unique, and Eternal (or the specific mob types you care about). Add regions you actually play. Turn off defeat noise unless you need it to judge contestation. You can always widen the filters later.
Use the forges panel
When you are close to having five Super petals of one type, watch the Unique Forges panel. Knowing whether the Titan is available saves wasted travel.
Background and sound
Allow browser notifications and keep a tab open (or use a supported background mode). Pair critical rarities with a distinct sound so you can react without reading every toast.
Discord bot and community
If you play with a group, the Discord integration can share the same events into a channel. Coordinate who takes which spawn so the whole group benefits without everyone racing the same target.
Review and adjust
After a few sessions, check which alerts you ignored. Tighten those filters. The goal is fewer, higher-value notifications that you actually act on.
