Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information FlorrMobNotify collects when you use the service at mobs.ashish.top, how that information is used, and what choices you have. By using FlorrMobNotify, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Guest Sessions

When you connect as a guest, the server generates a temporary session token and assigns you an anonymous identity. No personal information is required. The session token is stored in your browser's localStorage and is sent to the server only to authenticate your WebSocket connection. Guest sessions expire automatically.

1.2 Discord Login

If you choose to log in with Discord via the OAuth 2.0 flow, we receive the following information from Discord:

• Your Discord username and discriminator
• Your Discord user ID
• Your Discord avatar URL

We do not access your Discord messages, server memberships, friends list, or any other Discord data beyond the basic public profile information listed above. Your Discord credentials (password) are never shared with us — authentication is handled entirely by Discord's servers.

1.3 Usage Analytics

FlorrMobNotify uses two third-party analytics services to understand how the tool is used:

• Vercel Analytics — collects aggregate page view and performance data. No personally identifiable information is stored.
• Google Analytics (GA4) — collects anonymized usage data including page views, session duration, and general geographic region (country-level). IP addresses are anonymized by default.

These analytics help us understand which features are used and whether the site performs well across different devices and regions. We do not use analytics data to build profiles about individual users.

1.4 Chat Messages

If you use the in-app chat feature, your messages are transmitted to the server and broadcast to other connected users in real time. Chat messages are not permanently stored beyond the current server session. Moderation may involve reviewing chat content to enforce acceptable use policies.

1.5 Advertising and Cookies

FlorrMobNotify may use Google AdSense on public guide and article pages. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, and similar technologies to serve, personalize, and measure ads in accordance with their own privacy policies.

Advertising is not intended to be placed inside the live tracker, event feed, or chat experience. You can manage personalized Google ad settings at Google Ad Settings. Where legally required, consent choices will be presented before advertising cookies are used.

2. Local Storage

FlorrMobNotify stores the following data in your browser's localStorage:

• Session token — used to resume your session on page reload without logging in again.
• Notification settings — your rarity filters, region filters, whitelists, blacklists, sound preferences, and other Settings panel options.
• Layout preferences — your chosen layout mode (top-bar or sidebar) and panel size ratio.
• Changelog version — the date of the last changelog you viewed, so the app knows whether to show the new-changelog popup.
• UI state — which server sections are collapsed, whether you have seen certain new features, and similar interface state.

All localStorage data is stored only on your device. It is not transmitted to any server except for the session token, which is sent only to authenticate your WebSocket connection.

3. How We Use Your Information

Information collected by FlorrMobNotify is used solely to:

• Authenticate your session and maintain your connection.
• Display your username in the community panel (Discord users).
• Apply your role-based permissions (Discord users).
• Improve the service based on anonymized usage analytics.

We do not sell, share, rent, or trade any personal information with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes. We do not build behavioral profiles from individual user data.

4. Third-Party Services

FlorrMobNotify integrates with the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:

• Discord (discord.com/privacy) — for optional OAuth login.
• Google Analytics (policies.google.com/privacy) — for anonymized usage statistics.
• Vercel (vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy) — for hosting and analytics.
• Buy Me a Coffee — the donation link is external; any interaction with it is governed by their own terms and privacy policy.

5. Data Retention

Guest sessions expire automatically after a fixed period set by the server. Discord sessions remain active until you log out or are removed by a moderator. Locally stored settings and tokens persist until you clear your browser's localStorage manually.

Analytics data is retained according to the respective policies of Vercel Analytics and Google Analytics. We do not store personal data on our own servers beyond what is needed to authenticate and maintain your active session.

6. Your Rights and Choices

You have the following controls over your data:

• Clear local data — clear your browser's localStorage for this site to remove all stored settings and session tokens. This will log you out and reset all preferences to defaults.
• Log out — logging out removes your active server session. Your localStorage settings remain until manually cleared.
• Opt out of Google Analytics — install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on to prevent Google Analytics from collecting data about your visits.
• Request data deletion — contact us via Discord or the contact information below to request deletion of any server-stored data associated with your account.

7. Children's Privacy

FlorrMobNotify is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to remove it.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will be revised. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
