Changelog

Notable features and improvements added to FlorrMobNotify over time. For the complete, up-to-date release history, open the app and click the Changelogs button in the header — the in-app log is always current.

Full changelog available in-app. Open the app and click the green changelog icon in the header to see every update in detail. New changelogs trigger an automatic popup the first time you visit after a release.

Notable Features & Improvements

Multi-Language Support (English & Chinese)

  • Added full Simplified Chinese (zh-CN) localization covering all UI text, notifications, event descriptions, and settings labels.
  • Auto-detection reads the browser's language preference and applies the correct locale automatically on first visit.
  • Manual language selection available in the Settings panel — change takes effect immediately without a page reload.

Sidebar Layout Mode

  • Added an alternative sidebar layout where the navigation sits in a vertical panel on the left side of the screen instead of across the top.
  • Layout preference is saved to localStorage and restored automatically on the next visit.
  • Layout toggle button added to both the top-bar and sidebar headers for quick switching.

Discord OAuth Login

  • Players can now log in with their Discord account for a persistent session with no expiry.
  • Discord username and avatar are shown in the online users panel.
  • User roles (Guest, Member, Moderator, Admin) are synced from the Discord server and displayed with custom colors.

Rift Tracking & History

  • Real-time rift open and update notifications added to the event feed and browser notification system.
  • Rift events are pinned in the feed for 30 seconds to keep them visible while other events arrive.
  • Dedicated Rifts History panel shows a paginated log of past rifts including server, player count, winner username, prize type, and claim time.

Shop Monitor with Date Navigation

  • Shop dialog added showing the current in-game shop inventory fetched from the server.
  • A notification badge appears in the header whenever the shop updates with new items.
  • Calendar date picker inside the dialog lets players browse shop contents for any past or future date.

Unique Forges Tracker

  • New Forges panel added to track currently active unique-tier forge locations.
  • Data is fetched on demand each time the panel is opened.
  • Displayed under the More menu dropdown for quick access.

Mob Voting System

  • Community poll options appear directly on mob cards when voting is active.
  • Players can cast votes and see real-time results update as other connected users participate.
  • Vote data is included in the mob info popup for detailed viewing.

Real-Time Chat

  • Floating chat panel added for real-time in-app messaging between connected players.
  • Messages display the sender's username and role with matching role colors.
  • Broadcast messages from the server team are highlighted distinctly in the chat feed.
  • Unread message badge shown on the Chat button when the panel is closed.

Advanced Notification Filtering

  • Spawn whitelist and blacklist support added: specify exact mob names to always or never notify about.
  • Separate defeat notification whitelist and blacklist settings added.
  • All 10 rarity tiers now individually toggleable in Settings.
  • Server region filter (US, EU, ASIA) added to restrict notifications to relevant regions.

Daily Statistics Counter

  • Daily stats counter added to the event feed panel showing total mob spawns, mob defeats, Super-rarity count, Unique-rarity count, Eternal-rarity count, and total rifts for the current UTC day.
  • Resets automatically at the daily UTC cutoff.
  • Stats are fetched on demand when you request them via the stats button.

Core Capabilities Present Since Launch

WebSocket Real-Time Infrastructure

From day one, FlorrMobNotify has used a persistent WebSocket connection for all event delivery — no polling, no refresh required. The same underlying protocol handles mob events, authentication, chat, shop data, mapcodes, and all other features.

Guest Session System

Guest access has always been available without requiring an account. Session tokens are issued by the server, stored locally, and auto-resumed on reload. The guest session countdown timer in the header shows remaining session time.

Browser Notification + Sound System

Native browser notifications and optional sound alerts have been core features since the initial release. The notification system uses the Web Audio API to prevent audio queueing issues when returning to a tab after a period of inactivity.
