Florr.io Petals Overview
What petals do, how you obtain them, and how they relate to rare mob spawns and forges.
What petals are
Petals are the equipment of florr.io. They orbit your flower and deal damage on contact with mobs (and other players in PvP contexts). Each petal has health of its own; when it is destroyed it respawns after a short cooldown. Different petals have different roles: pure damage, healing, projectiles, area control, mana, utility, and more.
There are well over 100 distinct petal types. Some exist only at higher rarities. A few (such as Basic) are given to every new player and cannot be crafted further from Common.
How petals drop
Most petals come from killing mobs. Drop rates depend on the mob species and the rarity of the mob you killed. In general:
- Higher-rarity mobs have a better chance of dropping higher-rarity petals of the types associated with that mob.
- Damage contribution matters. Players who deal meaningful damage (commonly cited thresholds around 15% and top-4 damage) can pick up the drops in PvE.
- Super and Eternal mobs are especially valuable because the petals they drop sit at the top of the rarity ladder.
Some petals are also available from the rotating shop, from special NPCs (Trader, Oracle, Titan, Assembler), or through crafting.
Crafting and special forges
Crafting upgrades five petals of one rarity into one petal of the next rarity (same type). Success rates fall quickly at higher tiers; Super → Eternal sits at 0.1%. Failed crafts consume input petals.
Special systems go beyond normal crafting:
- Titan (Jungle) – Combines five Super petals into a Unique petal. Only one Unique of each type can exist at a time.
- Oracle (Ocean) – Guarantees a craft success for a higher material cost and a cooldown.
- Assembler (Factory) – Transforms petals according to rotating recipes rather than simple rarity upgrades.
- Trader (Desert) – Exchanges a petal for a Coin of the same rarity (cooldown).
Magic variants and mana
Certain petals have “magic” counterparts that require mana to use. Mana Orb (and related petals) increase max mana and regeneration and unlock the ability to find magic petal variants from specific mobs. Mana-intensive loadouts reward careful resource management and good regen petals.
Why spawn tracking helps
The petals that matter most for long-term progress are the ones that come from Super, Unique, and Eternal sources or from successful high tier crafts. Those events are rare and short-lived. FlorrMobNotify surfaces them the moment they appear so you can decide whether to travel, craft, or ignore them.
